Set in our award-winning gardens and parkland near Newmarket and Cambridge, Chippenham Park is a photographer's dream. With a multitude of picturesque settings, it’s the perfect backdrop for romantic photos to commemorate your day. We are happy to recommend local photographers familiar with this stunning Suffolk-Cambridgeshire location.
THE LAKESIDE MARQUEE
When you’re ready, you’ll head down to our permanent marquee at the edge of the lake, set within our idyllic garden wedding venue. There’s room for up to 200 wedding guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 250 for evening celebrations. The marquee is fully serviced, a short walk from the main house, and features its own kitchen, bar, and deck overlooking the lake.
YOUR PARTY
With two walls of windows, our garden wedding venue offers stunning views across the park and lake.
Inside the marquee, you’ll find a dance floor under a starlight ceiling and a permanent bar. Outside, there’s a spacious decking area complete with chairs, tables, and umbrellas, perfect for enjoying the beauty of the Cambridgeshire countryside.
MUSIC
After dinner, we’ll open up the bar and dance floor so your guests can dance the night away under a canopy of stars.
One of our preferred DJs will work with you to create your perfect playlist to get everyone, from teenagers to grandparents, on their feet. Or, if you’d prefer live music, we are happy to recommend some fantastic bands from Cambridge, Newmarket and the surrounding area.
FIREWORKS
On warm evenings, your party can spill out onto the lakeside decking and the fire pit area.
And if you really want to set your nuptials off to a blazing start, you can choose a fireworks company from our three recommended suppliers in the Cambridge / Newmarket area.
